Simple Sponge Cake

sponge cake on white stand with blue ribbon

Just like the title suggests, this cake is so simple. It only requires eggs, sugar, and flour. The creams and fillings are endless when it comes to using this cake as a base. Its my number one go-to cake, and I probably can make it with my eyes closed. Not to brag or anything, I just want to point out how easy it is to make this cake. After all, this was my very first cake I made 15 years ago. Continue reading “Simple Sponge Cake”

Super Easy Omelet

Im so excited to share this Super Easy Omelet. My daughter made most of it! Since the name of my site is Kitchen Development, I’m trying to focus more on how to cook with kids and how to help them develop their kitchen skills. Sometimes, I think my kids are still too young to cook but they always show so much interest in helping me. I know that I’m not the best person when it comes to having patience, especially when it means I get to watch my kids make a mess and be ok with that.  But I also know the younger they start learning and experimenting the easier it will be for them when the grow up. Quinoa Pilaf

This easy quinoa pilaf dish came to me as an idea one day. I was preparing to do my rice pilaf (plov) because I needed something quick and easy to make for lunch, and I know that everyone loves plov in our family. Then I thought to myself, can I make this plov any healthier? And right away I remembered about my favorite nutrition book, The Men’s Health Big Book of Food and Nutrition. Crepes with Cream Cheese Filling

cream cheese filled crapes

These crepes are filled with sweet cream cheese. These are so delicious they melt in your mouth. Literally, no need to chew them (you probably should though). Evrytime I make these they always disappear so fast I have to eat a few before I serve them because I know there will not be any left. This is one of my signature dishes that I make for parties and family gatherings. This healthy and delicious Quinoa and Turkey Stuffed Pepper dish has been one of our favorite meals for a while. When my husband and I just got married, we were pretty strict on eating healthy. Nevertheless, this Quinoa Stuffed Peppers dish stuck with us through all those years. I love making it because its so easy and simple to make and its so delicious my very picky toddlers always ask for seconds!
