Product Information : -
This de-bonding agent can be used to remove powerstick adhesive. It loosens the glue by breaking up the chemical bond. A plastic spatula or similar will be required to apply some leverage to help remove the adhesive.
General Information : -
Powerstick bonds in seconds. This quick tool free system is suitable for jointing a wide variety of timber, plastic and metal products. It involves a powerful two part multi-purpose cyanoacrylate adhesive including activator. Available in packs and as individual components.
. Activator is CFC free.
. Can be used in conjunction with Powerset to enable components to be held without clamps.
. De bonding agent is stocked to 'loosen' the adhesive.
. No waste with adhesive and activator available separately.
. Simple and speedy (saving on labour costs).
Application: -
To use, simply apply a small amount of adhesive to one surface of the joint, a quick spray of activator to the matching surface making sure that no over spray contacts the adhesive. Align carefully, bring together and hold firmly for 10 seconds to give a holding bond. Clean off any excess around adjacent areas. Allow a further 5 minutes to achieve a workable bond & 12 hours for full mechanical strength.
Shelf Life : -
The shelf life on both the adhesive and activator supplied on Powerstick kits is 12 months from date of invoice, providing the products have been stored below 25'C.
